What is Bunka embroidery?

Bunka embroidery is one of Japan's traditional handicrafts, boasting a history of about 100 years.
Among them, Tokyo Bunka Embroidery, the original embroidery, is widely loved by many fans not only in Japan but also overseas in countries such as the United States, Canada, and Europe.

Iwase Shokai Co., Ltd. has been working to popularize Tokyo Bunka embroidery as an authorized distributor for the brand for approximately 50 years.
We will become a manufacturer and distributor from November 2025 , and will use the experience we have cultivated to create products that are even more tailored to our customers' needs.

Cultural embroidery, which stimulates the peripheral nerves in the fingertips, is being actively adopted by patients in hospital surgical wards, and is becoming more popular as a creative activity that also serves as a form of rehabilitation.
